The cowboy hat was the perfect touch. Rod and his wife Debbie kindly invited us to their tomato and mango farm in Mecca, where we also did jump photos with their amazing, hard working and dedicated farm workers – who are considered more than just workers, they are considered family. Rod was little shy about doing the jump, and I’m so glad he did, I love the way his photo turned out, it captures his poise and strength. We got to have a tour of the entire farm and to be reminded of the care and love that goes into organic food.
Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to share some jumping joy with us Rod!
Thank you to the Palm Springs Cultural Center inviting me to be your first Artist in residence and bringing the Jump for Joy Photo Project to the Coachella Valley.
