I randomly meet these lovely ladies who were visiting from Japan during an epic road trip to Salvation Mountain with Michael. We had a little bit of a language barrier but the idea of jumping for joy is easily translated into any language. It only took one or two snaps of the camera to capture this fun joy filled jump.
Salvation Mountain is truly magical and a testament to the impact of art. People from all over the world fly to the USA, then drive out to the middle of the desert to experience, photograph and be photographed at this location, which is literally in the middle of nowhere.
Moments like this pass by quickly, but capturing photos holds the memory and spreads the energy and intention of the brief connections we’ve made. One of the reasons I love sharing the joy of jumping photos.
Thank you for sharing your joy Aya and Mai!
