Skyla Cruz jumps sky high for joy in the Demuth Community Center garden

Getting to photograph with a bunch of intelligent, creative, confident girls is a such a pleasure. Skyla is one of nearly a dozen Girl Guides who jumped around with us on this day, and she was one of the first to volunteer to jump. I’m sure that Skyla will accomplish great things in the world and so happy she shared her joy with us.

Get to know a little more about Skyla:
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A:
My dog, music, dance, friends and family.

Q: How was your experience doing the jumping photos?
A:
My experience was good, before I felt ready and after I felt very outgoing!

Q: How do you describe the feeling of joy?
A:
Joy feels accomplished, and using talents in life.

Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
A:
Dance and music.

Q: How do you feel about being part of a community project that promotes joy?
A:
I feel famous!

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A:
Be a professional singer, ukulele player, songwriter and YouTuber.

Q: What are you working on or creating?
A:
I’m working on a song with my friend Bella.

Q: Mini bio or something special you want to share.
A:
I have been a Girl Scout for five years!
