Take the trails and jump for joy with Nancy Lindsay

Nancy Lindsay photographed by Eyoalha baker of Jump for Joy Photo Project and Palm Springs Cultural Center Artist Residency

This was a memorable day of hiking through Indian Canyons with a group of wonderful women, including Nancy (and my wonderful assistant Thomas too!). We hiked, breathed in the clean air and laughed our way along the trails, stopping here and there to do jumping photos. I love this one of Nancy, effortlessly suspended in the air.

Get to know more about Nancy:
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A:
My puppy Lola. My husband’s face. Good hike on cool day.

Q.What was your experience doing the jumping photos?
A:
Uplifting and uplifted.

Q: How do you describe the feeling of joy?
A:
Transcendent and transformative.

Q: How do you feel about being part of a collaborative community project that promotes joy?
A:
Promoting joy has to be a good thing.

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A:
Write the great American novel. Working on it in my head.

Thank you for sharing your hike and beautiful jumping joy Nancy!
