We met up with Danae and her family (keep an eye out for there features) at the main entrance to the Art Museum. We took a walk around the corner went around the corner and found this beautiful spot where the hard lines of architecture meet the soft curves of nature.
I love the contrast of her gorgeous, vibrant pink dress against the cement and blue sky. After only one or two jumps we were told that we were in an ’employee only zone’ so we quickly got one last jump in before moving on… the result: this stunning jump that looks as though Danae is lifting off gracefully into the sky.
Get to know a little about what makes Danae jump for joy:
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A: I’m inspired to jump for joy when someone in my family pursues a dream, achieves a goal or creates something beautiful.
Q: What was your experience doing the jumping photos?
A: I was thrilled to be a participant in this project and the jumping was exhilarating. I’m glad we were able to share the experience together as a family and Eyoälha’s excitement was contagious.
Q: How do you describe the feeling of joy?
A: Joy is when your smiling from ear to ear without even realizing it and can sometimes move you to tears. My life would be empty without joy in it!
Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
A: There is nothing better than spending time with my loved ones because they bring me the most joy. However, I also enjoy cooking tasty meals for my family and friends. Arranging flowers is another passion of mine, but only when I have the time to sit, relax and enjoy the process. Occasionally, I need to get out and cut loose on the dance floor. That’s where I feel totally free and totally me!
Q: How do you feel about being part of a collaborative community project that promotes joy?
A: Awesome! It’s great to see a community come together for a joyous purpose.
Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: If I could do anything in the world, I would spread the act of forgiveness so we could all be free of hurt and anger.
Q: What are you working on?
A: I’m currently working on me!
Q: Mini bio or something special you want to share.
A: I live in the Movie Colony East neighborhood in Palm Springs and absolutely love my life here!
