I met the lovely Elle (Age 10) and her parents at the Palm Springs Cultural Center’s Long Table event. I then had the luck of running into Elle and her mom Leslie (Leslie’s jumps are coming soon too!) at the La Quinta Farmers Market where she creates and sells beautiful products from upcycled and organic materials.
I asked if I could borrow Elle for a few jumps of joy, and we caught a couple of sweet pics of her and her shadow in mid air. Looking forward to having the entire Shockley family jumping for joy together soon as well!
Get to know a little about what makes Elle Jump for joy:
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A: A few things that make me happy are gardening, working on wax artwork in my dad’s studio, and exploring new areas.
Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
A: Playing chess at the farmer’s markets, hiking and exploring, gardening.
Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: Wildlife biologist. Helping to save wildlife.
Q: Mini bio or something special you want to share.
A: I am from Palm Desert, CA and some interesting facts about myself are I love to garden with my mom and I love to go exploring in new areas with my dad.
Thanks for jumping around and sharing your sweet joy Elle!
