The bright and colourful Ms. COURTNEY SPAHAN shares her JOY! …
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A: There are so many wonders and beautiful experiences that one can enjoy in this life and being able to express that in a singular action is simply put – fun!
Q. Jumping photo experience?
A: I was very excited to be a part of a public piece of art that captures what I think should be our natural state… joyful. As for the shoot itself? Leaping about the steps of the art gallery with so many curious faces was a lot of fun. Especially when I may have accidentally flashed some civilians.
Q: Inspiration in life?
A: Beautiful things. The sky. The curve of a persons face. The smell of cut grass. My family.
Q: Greatest passion?
A: Having fun and experiencing as much of this world as I possibly can.
Q: Driving force?
A: My family who are supportive and loving for all the choices I make.
Q: Philosophy?
A: People have the right to live in a way that makes them happy.
Q: Anything in the world?
A: Travel everywhere, read many great books, see many great works of art and be kind to people. I try everyday.
Q. Working on?
A: I enjoy performing burlesque, so there is always a routine in my mind that would like too get up on stage and shake it. I really try and see a show once a month and there are so many creative performers that I love. So I try and support the burlesque community because they were so open and supportive.
Q: Mini bio:
A: I am originally from the Coldwater Reserve in the beautiful Nicola Valley! I now live in Kitsilano as close to the beaches as I can afford. I play hockey. Love to swim. Took a hat class the other week and have a penchant for sparkly things.
