“Every great work, every big accomplishment, has been brought into manifestation through holding to the vision, and often just before the big achievement, comes apparent failure and discouragement.” – Florence Scovel Shinn
This is Brandi Leifso, CEO of Evelyn Iona Cosmetics. I am such a huge fan of this amazing human being. Brandi has overcome great obstacles in her own life, and on the path to creating this socially conscious company. Yet her beautiful and determined heart keeps her going and holds her strong while creating her vision, despite the many obstacles and difficulties she has encountered along the way.

Not only are her organic, cruelty free products good for you, they are also good for the women in our communities. Women in need of the support and camaraderie of other women. $1 from every Evelyn Iona product you buy is donated to friends at YWCA Canada. YWCA is an organization dedicated to helping nearly 25 million women and girls, per year, flee violence, secure housing, find jobs, establish their voices, enhance their skills and develop confidence.
This is not meant to be a sales pitch, I am just so darn proud of Brandi, all she has accomplished, and how she intentionally created a business that helps other women flourish. She has literally set up her company in a way that her success, supports others to succeed as well. She is an inspiration and it makes me want to jump for joy that people like her exist in the world.
