Today we celebrate and be thankful for joy, creativity, art, uplifting each other, community, fun and.. well, all the good feeling vibes and positive energy that we feel when we are inspired to jump for joy.
Today is the Vancouver Jump for Joy Mural official opening. It is my honour to invite people to share and celebrate the experience of creating this joy-filled public art work.
The mural will be on the wall for an entire year. Today we have permission from the city to hold off car traffic. We’ve moved garbage bins, and are tidying up so we can linger, mingle, jump around and dance in the lane way.
The event is being held between 1:30-4:30 and is located in the lane beside 161 East Pender Street.
Get your jumping shoes on, stop by to do a jump photo in front of the mural! Tweet it to me: @jumpforjoyphoto #jumpforjoyphoto

Thank you Sabrina! This means a lot to me. Where in the world are you? Maybe I will be able to make my way there at some point too 🙂

This is just brilliant. I’ve been following your blog for some time now and you cannot imagine how excited I am for this project, even if I am on the other side of the world and I am probably never going to be able to see this in person, but congratulations to you and thank you for adding a whole lot of hope and colour to our world… Cheers
