This one stuck out to me, because one quirk about my dear son is that he has always flapped when he gets excited. He has slowed down with it, every year of his life, but I can tell what he’s really happy about when his arms start going a mile a minute. I’ve caught his little sister doing it, too. Talk about jumping for joy: my little A., nearly 3, jumped off of a gymnastics vault into a pit of foam blocks all by herself at her class last week…the smile on her face was priceless!
